I’m Humor Writer of the Month!

Posted Nov 9 2011

I was chosen as Humor Writer of the Month by the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop!  Hooray!  See the details at:  http://humorwriters.org/category/humor-writer-of-the-month/ I’m so honored!  I loved Erma Bombeck’s writing.  She managed to find humor in the ironies – and in some cases drudgery – of daily life.  I often think of one or another of her humor pieces […]

Debut Today!

Posted Nov 1 2011 in , , ,

My dream of becoming a published novelist comes true today as my debut novel, Death, Taxes, and a French Manicure, hits the bookstore shelves.  Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!  When I set out ten years ago to become a writer, I expected the process to be a solitary endeavor.  But I couldn’t have been more wrong!  There are so […]

Debut Tomorrow! Join in the Chat for a Chance to Win!

Posted Oct 31 2011 in , , , , , , ,

It’s Halloween, the day when our thoughts turn to scary things.  Ghosts.  Goblins.  Vampires.  The IRS. I jest, of course.  There’s no reason to fear the IRS – as long as you’re being honest on your tax returns, of course! Debut Countdown – 1 day! Post a Comment for a Chance to Win!

Posted Oct 30 2011 in , , , , ,

Haha! Our terrier mix and shepherd mix are certainly selective, too. They hear "treat" without fail, but "down" or "no!" don't always register. Raggs is such a cute name!

Reggie certainly looks happy! My own dog, Raggs, has "selective" hearing--and he's not well trained. But. Our dogs are family and we do love them.

Thanks, Barbara! I wish I could write faster, too! My ideas are backing up in my head. : ) I wish my brain had a USB port where I could automatically download the stories from my mind to the page. I'm so glad you enjoyed the book! I'm hard at work on the second one, A Trip with Trouble.

I LOVED getaway with Murder. The second book can't be published soon enough. Can you write any faster? ;-)
