Great Plays!

Saw two great plays in the last week.  The first was “Dixie’s Tupperware Party.”  It was an actual tupperware party hosted by a drag queen in heels and apron.  It was raunchy, irreverent, and politically incorrect – in other words, hilarious!  The other was “The Sports Page” at Stage West in Fort Worth.  If you live in north Texas, I’d definitely recommend going to see it.  It was funny and engaging, with great characters you will find yourself rooting for.  Although it’s entertaining, there’s some subtle depth to it, too, and a very relatable theme of trying to chase your dreams and find your place in an ever-evolving world.  Playwright Larry Herold has a real winner in this one!  Check it out at:  http://stagewest.org/

I Love My Street Team!

I recently started a “Street Team,” a group of book lovers who graciously offered to help spread the word about my novels.  Such wonderful women!  I’d love to introduce you to some of them.

Dru is an avid book reader on who lives on the East Coast. Her day job as a research analyst keeps her in books that she loves to buy and read. Sabrena runs Book Lovers Haven over at http://taiyouryu.blogspot.com.  She reads, listens to music, writes fanfics and can provide IT troubleshooting. She says she also has a bit of a hair-trigger temper.  (Being Irish, I can relate to that!)

More Books!

Looks like there will be three more Tara Holloway books!  I’m so excited!  We’re hammering out the details now, but it’s looking like there will be a novella between books #3 and #4, with Book #4 coming out in February of 2013 and #5 and #6 following at four-month intervals thereafter.  I can’t wait to get Tara in lots more trouble . . . : )
